We have arrived at Candlemas, also known as Imbolc, which marks the turning point between winter and spring—a moment to honour the growing light and the quiet stirrings of life beneath the soil. In the garden, it’s a time for preparation: sharpening tools, planning the year ahead, and sowing the first seeds indoors. As we light candles, we reflect on the spark within us, ready to grow alongside the lengthening days.
