The moon continues its journey through Virgo before entering the constellation of Libra, which brings balance as we transition from the earthy sign of Virgo to the airy sign of Libra. If we were to compare farm animals to the elements, we might say that pigs are earthy, cows are connected to water, horses to fire, and goats to air—often standing on their hind legs to reach forage and thriving in mountainous terrain. Even their manure reflects these elemental qualities, making them ideal for different uses in the garden. For example, horse manure is well-suited for tomatoes, while goat manure benefits roses.
