The moon waxes up to a half moon, transitioning from right to left in the Northern hemisphere, while in the Southern hemisphere, the moon waxes from left to right due to the change in perspective. The half-moon rises in the constellation of Leo, bringing warmth. We have passed the midpoint between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice; light and warmth are enriching our gardens and soils. The soil has warmed up, both from the season and aided by the moon in Leo. These conditions allow for the transplanting of more vegetables and flowers into the garden.
