Today, the moon reaches perigee—its closest approach to Earth—creating less-than-ideal conditions for gardening due to its strong gravitational influence, which can affect plant growth and soil stability. Instead of working directly with the soil or plants, channel your creativity into a small DIY project in your garden. Sometimes, these small changes can have a significant impact. I recently experienced this firsthand while stirring biodynamic preparations in a barrel; a few small stones at the bottom completely hindered the formation of the vortex needed for potentiating the preparations. This demonstrates how the microcosm can reflect the influence of the macrocosm and underscores the importance of small changes and DIY tasks.
